ADEX is the longest running and the largest dive expo in Asia celebrating its 23nd year in 2018. A must-attend event for anyone interested or involved in the world of diving, the event has seen a continuous increase in visitors over the past few years, with ADEX 2017 attracting a total of 60,296 visitors over three days!

Taking place from April 6 – 8, ADEX 2018 proudly presents world-renowned marine life artists, conservationists and photographers to speak about their passion and work towards marine life. It is organized by Underwater360 (UW360), and is an event being endorsed by major organizations in the industry such as DEMA (USA), and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB).

Job Description

Editorial Intern 

Responsibilities

  • Research and write for Asian Diver, Scuba Diver Ocean Planet and UW360.com
  • Write and post updates on the magazine’s social media pages
  • Assist in picture research and copy editing
  • Conduct interviews for online features
  • Assist in coordinating UW360 events, such as the Asia Dive Expo (ADEX) and the Diver’s Party

Requirements

  • A flair for the English language with meticulous grammar skills
  • An interest in diving and marine conservation
  • A creative writer who is able to brainstorm story ideas
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn about editorial production
  • Ideally a university student or recent graduate; final year polytechnic graduates will also be considered
