As a research intern in Aspiria (a subsidiary of REAPRA PTE. LTD.), your role is to work directly with our CEO to execute and synthesize market research on related topics in beauty industry in Malaysia. And you will be involved in the process of establishing new business once the opportunities are found. This position is a fast-paced, demanding and will provide the opportunity of exposure to deep understanding in beauty industry and entrepreneurship. This is paid internship and have a one-month probation period. If you can find business opportunities through feasibility study during your internship period, there is a possibility to be hired as a full-time regional manager where we are going to expand or general manager of that business.

Responsibilities:
Explore beauty businesses and trends in Malaysia
Research on related topics like media platform, portal services and influencer marketing in beauty industry in Malaysia.
Analyze existing competitive beauty services, new areas of value, factors driving the market, new markets/segments to enter, etc.
Support with data and model on ongoing projects and programs.
Support team members on the development of personalized and customized products.
Minimum Qualifications:
Be able to work at least 6 months no matter full-time or part-time. However, full-time is preferred.
Be enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD program or own a bachelor/Master degree or above in any major.
Fluent written, spoken and reading capability in English.
Be able to work in Kuala Lumpur since we don’t sponsor work visa for interns.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong analytical and academic background is a plus.
Passion in entrepreneurship and experiences in start-ups are extremely preferred.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
Tackle issues with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and think from both micro and macro viewpoints.
Self-starter who can work proactively and independently as well as in a collaborative environment.
High-tolerance for ambiguity and ability work to in fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
