We are currently adding a new business stream in the exciting field of underwater drones and seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an Engineering Intern. 

Job Description

As an Engineering Intern in our Marine Robotics Team, you will be responsible for designing and prototyping servo-powered gimbals for our underwater robots. This is a hands-on role where you will collaborate directly with the CTO to innovate and enhance our gimbal systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop servo-powered gimbals, ensuring high precision and durability.
  • Create CAD models and detailed technical drawings of gimbal components.
  • Prototype and test gimbal designs using various materials and manufacturing techniques
  • Conduct performance analyses and simulations to validate design concepts.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during the prototyping phase.
  • Document design processes, test results, and modifications for future reference.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a study in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and experience with 3D modeling.
  • Knowledge of servo motors, control systems, and mechanical design principles.
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping and using 3D printers or CNC machines is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative on projects.
