Autism Association (Singapore) or AA(S), is a Social Service Agency dedicated to supporting and serving individuals with autism to maximise their potential, helping them lead meaningful and quality lives in society.
The Association manages a suite of programmes and services under the Eden brand portfolio. These include:
- Eden Children’s Centre for young children with autism (aged 2 – 6 years old)
- Eden School, www.edenschool.edu.sg, for children and youths (aged 7 – 18 years old)
- Eden Centre for Adults (Clementi and Hougang) (aged 18 – 55 years old)
- Eden Activity Club for persons with autism who may not be accessing programmes and services
AA(S) programmes and services aim to impart life-skills to maximise the potential of persons with autism to lead dignified, independent, meaningful and quality lives in society. The profile of our students and adult clients leans toward moderate to severe autism.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing & Communications
- Assist in developing and executing online and offline marketing campaigns to promote events, fundraising initiatives, and programmes.
- Support the content creation process for the charity’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), email newsletters, and website.
- Draft compelling copy for email blasts and website updates to showcase success stories, donor highlights, and campaign milestones.
- Monitor and analyse marketing metrics to measure the success of communications strategies and suggest improvements.
2. Event Coordination
- Support the planning and coordination of charity events, including fundraising events, community outreach, and awareness campaigns.
- Assist in liaising with event vendors, sponsors, and volunteers to ensure smooth event execution.
- Manage event logistics, such as registration, volunteer coordination, and on-site support.
- Prepare event materials such as brochures, banners, and promotional content.
- Ensure post-event follow-up, including thank-you notes and post-event reports.
3. Branding & Public Relations
- Assist with maintaining brand consistency across all communications materials.
- Support media outreach efforts by compiling media lists and assisting with pitches.
4. Admin
- Maintain department records, answer and transfer calls, collect and distribute mail, and manage enquiry emails.
- Track inventory and stock supplies, and ensure low supplies are highlighted for replenishment.
- Perform any other admin and operations-related tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems (eg. Canva, Facebook Ads).
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop engaging content for a variety of audiences.
- Organised, with excellent multitasking and time management skills.
- Proactive and willing to take on new challenges.
- A passion for social causes and interest in supporting non-profit work.
