Job Description for Full Stack Developer

Description:

The incumbent will work on a scalable Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality solution for the construction industry. This solution will extract BIM information and be readily deployed on-site with various AR devices (HoloLens, Magic Leap, nReal and smart tablets/phones) to carry out inspections of building design specifications and BCA regulatory requirements as well as in the office with VR headsets. The person will be tasked with exploring these technologies and familiar with or keen to learn languages such as Java, HTML, PHP, C#, and C++ in order to cater to user experience and functionalities. Essentially, the job scope will cover working with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and 3rd party libraries. The person will be part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the software development life cycle from conception to deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying and enhancing existing product/solution for a specified purpose

• Determining solution specifications according to a number of various

factors and uses.

• Developing prototypes of products

• Determining and ensuring the viability of the product

• Liaise with product vendors and end-users

Requirements:

• At least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant fields.

• Some experience in developing desktop and mobile applications.

• Some experience in front-end languages and libraries (HTML/CSS,

JavaScript, XML, jQuery) and back-end languages (Java, Python, C#) and

JavaScript frameworks

• Some knowledge of database (MySQL), web servers (Apache) and UI/UX

Design.
