Job Description
Accountants’ tool development:
Create small, practical spreadsheets-based tools that cater to the needs of accountants and finance professionals using Excel or Google Sheets (both built in functions and programming codes—VBA and AppScript/JavaScript)
Research and analysis:
- Analyse feedback from users and make iterative improvements to the handy tools
- Conduct research on the specific requirements and challenges faced by accountants in their daily tasks
Innovation and creativity:
- Explore innovative ways to streamline accounting processes using Excel
- Suggest and implement improvements and new features for existing tools
Documentation:
- Document the functionality, usage instructions, and best practices for each handy tool you create
- Create user guides and tutorials to help accountants make the most of the tools
