Job Summary:

The Operations Executive is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational processes, including order fulfillment, logistics coordination, warehouse management, driver management, and procurement for the confectionary F&B business. This role ensures smooth operations across the supply chain, from procurement to delivery, maintaining optimal efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Order Fulfillment & Inventory Management:

- Oversee the complete order fulfillment process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.

- Manage stock levels, ensuring inventory accuracy through regular audits and stocktakes.

- Coordinate with production teams to meet demand forecasts and ensure product availability.

 

2. Logistics & Delivery Coordination:

- Schedule and manage the dispatch of orders, optimizing routes for drivers and delivery teams.

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of drivers to ensure timely deliveries.

- Troubleshoot any delivery issues, including delays or customer complaints, to ensure customer satisfaction.

 

3. Warehouse Management:

- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring organized storage, picking, and packing of products.

- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety standards.

- Implement processes for efficient stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) and manage warehouse space effectively.

 

4. Procurement & Supplier Management:

- Source and procure raw materials and packaging supplies, maintaining good relationships with suppliers.

- Negotiate favorable terms with vendors, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising on quality.

- Monitor supply levels, placing orders as necessary to avoid shortages or overstocking.

 

5. Fleet & Driver Management:

- Manage a team of drivers, ensuring they are well-equipped and informed for deliveries.

- Maintain the fleet of delivery vehicles, scheduling regular maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.

- Implement driver performance tracking and optimization programs to improve delivery efficiency.

 

6. Reporting & Process Improvement:

- Track and analyze key operational metrics (e.g., order accuracy, delivery times, inventory levels).

- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the logistics and order fulfillment process, proposing solutions to streamline operations.

- Implement best practices and continuously improve operational processes to enhance productivity.

 

7. Other Duties:

- Coordinate with the sales, customer service, and production teams to ensure seamless communication and operational alignment.

- Assist in special projects, such as product launches or promotional campaigns, from an operational perspective.

- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards.

 

Key Skills & Qualifications:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

- 2-3 years of experience in operations, logistics, or warehouse management, preferably in F&B or confectionary.

- Class 3 License

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams.

- Experience in managing drivers or delivery teams.

- Knowledge of inventory management systems and logistics software.

- Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

 

Additional Information:

- Location: Sembawang & Woodlands

- Working Hours: 5.5 days, 8am - 5pm

- This job will require for you to work at least 1 weekend day
