Content Strategy & Copywriting Intern
If you are passionate about content writing and ideating on new content angles – especially financial technology topics – this position is perfect for you. Expect to work directly with the company founders and be immersed in start-up life.
Create original, clear, compelling copy for variety of mediums (eg, advertisements, articles, blog posts, newsletters, press releases, landing pages, social media posts)
Edit and proof work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs
Collaborate with creative, product, marketing and legal to assess projects needs and help with messaging
Brainstorm, ideate and lead the implementation of new content angles / lead generation growth hacks for Bambu, to reach and attract a larger base of followers.
Stay current on trends and competitors within editorial sphere
Write high-engagement social media content that reflects our brand voice
Respond to comments and conversations on social media platforms
Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications
Prior content writing experience, preferably in technology
Good command of written English
Strong creative thinking skills and ability to think conceptually
Comfortable working independently with little direction under tight deadlines
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
Proven ability to demonstrate brand voice
Strong attend to detail
Experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
