Job Description

We are looking to hire a Finance Manager with excellent organizational and analytical skills. The candidate is expected to be detail-oriented, knowledgeable on statistics, have strong problem-solving skills, and an investigative nature.

The Finance Manager is the lead finance business partner for the organisation and has responsibilities covering all aspects of financial management, performance management, financial accounting, budgeting and corporate reporting.

They must have sound technical as well as management skills and be able to lead a team consisting of finance professionals with varied, in-depth or niche technical knowledge and abilities, consolidating their work and ensuring its quality and accuracy, especially for reporting purposes.

To ensure success in this position, the Finance Manager should have a deep commercial awareness, strong numeracy skills, and a keen interest in the growth, efficiency, and profitability of an organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and execute financial tasks and projects of the organization.
  • Provide sound financial advice and counsel on working capital, financing or the financial position of the business to organisation's senior management and leadership team by synthesising internal and external data and studying the economic environment.
  • Make estimates of funds required for the short and long-term financial objectives of the organization.
  • Complete financial reports, lead the month-end closing process and conduct monthly financial forecast.
  • Develop and implement plans for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Implement best practices in order to identify and manage all financial and business risks and to meet the organisation's desired business and fiscal goals.
  • Achieve a proper mix of equity and debt to minimize cost and maximize operational profit.
  • Strategize on fund procurement through banks and other financial institutions.
  • Provide financial insight and analysis to drive the business performance of the organization.
  • Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reports.
  • Evaluate the financial performance of the organization and measure returns on investments.
  • Understand and calculate the risks involved in the financial activities of the organization.

Finance Manager Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy.
  • ACCA or equivalent license.
  • Thorough understanding of SFRS.
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems, and other financial planning software.
