The Roles
This is a sales role with the main focus to develop new business opportunities for BCI's Event and Publishing services. In a nutshell, the successful candidate will focus to look for a potential exhibitor, sponsor, and event partner for our Event, and advertiser for publication products.
- BCI's Events: available via ground and online/virtual sessions.
- BCIs publishing (regional Magazine) - available in print, digital platforms, and website/social media
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and identifying NEW sales opportunities for BCI Event & Publication services.
- Make outbound cold calls and secure appointments with clients (virtual or face to face).
- Understand the client's marketing needs and generate suitable marketing proposals that match the client's marketing & advertising plan /direction and budget.
- Follow through with the follow-up proses until successfully get the client on board with BCI services and after-sales services.
- Continuously engage with clients to build and maintain long-term business relationships.
- Achieve key performance indicators (KPI) & sales targets consistently.
- Manage all sales activities through the company CRM system.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in corporate (B2B) sales, customer services, media sales (Event & Publishing), or marketing.
- Experience in selling magazine advertising space, secure sponsorships, event partnerships, and business development will be added advantage
- Working experience in media-related industries will be added advantage.
- Excellent presentation skills and communication skills.
- Dynamic, positive attitude, ambitious, self-motivated, and result-oriented.
- 5-days working week.
