Job Description
Founded in April 2007 by two French entrepreneurs, Bemyspa is a Singapore-based health tourism company that offers tourism packages, resort spa and day spa booking in South Asia to OECD markets. The Health Tourism market in Asia represents 12 billion USD and its growth potential is forecasted to top an 18% growth rate per year in the region. The start-up markets Asia's holistic health treatments ranging from Ayurveda to Traditional Chinese Medicine through tourism. www.bemyspa.com Assisting the PM in all area, from collection of product information and pricing to competitive market analysis, you'll be working on the global strategy through product initiatives and enhancements, ensuring the whole implementation comes together. Key responsibilities will include: - Edit and update on-line product catalogue - Double check rates, child policies, special offers... for every product entered in the Back Office ensuring quotes provided by the system are 100% accurate. - Support IT team in improving and updating Back office and website. - Monitor industry trends to identify key opportunities and make recommendation to management to ensure our product portfolio supports growth in emerging areas whilst offering the optimum choice level for the customer. - Work with the PM to constantly watch competitor movements, look for new suppliers, analyze the potential of the products, conduct post-sales analysis and make relevant adjustments according to market forces. - Have input on any projects, spot change management needs and advise, recognise impediments to obtaining results and implement actions to overcome them. Requirements: - Previous experience within the travel Industry in a product role - Sound knowledge of Tour operating, Pricing, Planning, Trading, and Yield Management functions - Resourceful, proactive and well-organised team player with drive & initiative - Outstanding time management and problem solving skills - Able to multi-task working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines - Excellent commercial skills and judgement with an ability to think outside the square - Computer literate particularly with Excel and Access and proficient in Internet research - Confident in calculating and pricing - Attention to detail "This position provides solid growth potential and represents a great opportunity to develop your product experience and boost your career."
