Winners of the online round are invited to participate in a Global Round held in the Olympiad's country of origin. Our target market is Singapore, where we strive to identify and nurture young talent in their areas of interest and help them build strong extracurricular academic portfolios to boost their chances of success in university admissions and scholarship applications for Ivy League Universities.

Job Description

The Project Manager will play a critical role in the success of Bestys' Olympiads. This position involves managing the entire lifecycle of the Olympiad process, from liaising with interested parents and schools to handling administrative tasks and accompanying students and mentors to the Global Round. The role can be either full-time or part-time and operates in a hybrid setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, students, and school representatives in Singapore.

  • Address inquiries and provide detailed information about the Olympiads, participation requirements, and schedules.

Administrative Duties:

  • Manage registration processes, including verifying eligibility, collecting necessary documents, and maintaining accurate records.

  • Coordinate with international partners to ensure smooth communication and alignment on procedures and timelines.

Event Coordination:

  • Plan and organize travel arrangements for students and school mentors attending the Global Round, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.

  • Accompany participants in the Global Round, providing support and ensuring their well-being throughout the event.

Communication:

  • Develop and disseminate regular updates to participants and their families regarding event details, preparation guidelines, and important deadlines.

  • Facilitate meetings and briefings to ensure all stakeholders are well-informed and prepared.

Reporting and Feedback:

  • Compile reports on participation rates, feedback from participants and schools, and overall project performance.

  •  Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance the Olympiad experience.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum age of 18 years old.

  • Singaporean nationality.

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in an educational or event management setting.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • Willingness to travel internationally and accompany participants as needed.

  • Any prior Olympiad experience is a bonus.
