StemCo is an ed-tech company specializing in academic competition training for K-12 students and providing STEM competitions. We aim to create brand awareness and better engage with our existing customer base through compelling social media initiatives. We seek a social media manager to help us expand our digital footprint and oversee our social communication efforts. This new position should be able to develop and implement informed content strategies tailored to the strength of various social media platforms to create brand awareness and affinity.
Job description
1. Create and maintain the company's brand using social media marketing tools and platforms
2. Ensure all online efforts and messaging are consistent with the values, overall story, and voice of the target audience.
3. Plan and develop a social media content calendar for relevant platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn etc)
4. Design and create social media marketing collaterals to post in line with a content calendar
5. Communicate with followers, respond to queries on time, and monitor customer reviews
Job Requirement
1. At least 1 year of hands-on experience with online marketing channels and a good track record
2. Excellent communication and writing skills in English
3. Ability to generate and craft engaging creative content
4. Ability to work with content design tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop etc)
5. Fair understanding of performance metrics tools and getting insights from social data
6. Self-motivated and independent but also able to collaborate and work in a team
