Bizlink Centre is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving disadvantaged individuals, in particular persons with disabilities, through training and employment in Singapore. Bizlink is a registered charity with the office of the Commissioner of Charities and is conferred the status of the Institution of Public Character (IPC).
Bizlink has been serving the disability community since 1986.Today, individuals, regardless of their disabilities and disadvantaged background, are enabled through work within an inclusive community.
We are hiring a Purchasing & Admin Intern to deliver day-to-day duties and responsibilities for Bizlink Centre.
Reporting Department: Creative, e-Commerce and Marketing (CEM)
Reporting Address: 512 Chai Chee Lane, #01-09, Singapore 469028
Working Hours:
- Monday – Friday: 8.30am to 5.30pm
- Allowance is provided for overtime after working hours.
- Execute and assist the full purchase requisition process including prepare purchase order, waiver form and payment vouchers
- Source for quotations from vendors and suppliers
- Follow up on sales enquiries and order fulfilments
- Prepare quotations for customers interested in our various products such as greeting cards, hampers, floral gifts, corporate gifts etc.
- Arranging of logistic support such as delivery, mailing, courier, etc
- Any other duties that may be assigned by supervisor
Job Requirements:
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Able to work independently and in teams
- Have the patience and passion to work with disabilities and the needy and disadvantaged
