BlackStorm Consulting is looking for a Business Consultant to join the team. The ideal candidate should be analytical, proactive, and equipped with a good attitude and willingness to learn. He / she has to be meticulous and able to work in a fast-paced environment. A friendly disposition and a sense of curiosity will be essential. Having a strong interest in business management, and cutting-edge technologies will be a plus. The candidate is expected to lead and manage projects. The position will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia but is required to travel to fulfil project needs whenever necessary.
As a Business Consultant, your duties include but not limited:
Research and advisory:
- Keep up with key trends and develop analyses and insights
- Interpret and evaluate research data from various sources and develop integrated business analyses
- Gather information from meetings with relevant stakeholders for strategic decision-making
- Evaluate business processes and external environment of clients, and uncover areas for improvement
- Liaise and make necessary advice to clients
Reports and presentations:
- Develop materials for meetings and / or workshops with client and prospective client based on one’s expertise
- Develop materials to fulfill projects’ needs
Workshop and event facilitation:
- Conduct various workshops and business development events
- Lead the team in planning and executing small scale events
Manage business development and marketing activities:
- Network with the local communities and generate sales leads
- Speak at various relevant events to develop the business
Project management:
- Manage projects and ensure all deliverables are in place
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and for project fulfilment
Ad-hoc:
- Assist / support on ad-hoc projects
Requirements include but not limited:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce or equivalent
- Candidate must possess at least two (2) years of relevant experience in liaising with clients
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly proficient in written and verbal English
- Candidate might need to speak to Chinese-speaking clients
- Strong business acumen, proactive, analytical, meticulous, and willing to learn
- Interest in business management and cutting-edge technologies will be a plus
