At BlockPunk, you will take part in building a next-generation entertainment studio that is decentralising anime, film and TV. BlockPunk is backed by Entrepreneur First, SG Innovate (Innovation Centre of the Singapore Government) and DLE (Tokyo Stock Exchange Listed Entertainment Studio)

BlockPunk recently announced the launch of BlockStudios (www.blockstudios.net), its first merchandise solution, the world’s first ever crypto art marketplace for anime art.

BlockPunk is also developing a decentralized ecosystem for filmmakers that covers digital merchandise, production finance and streaming, and plans to launch a token sale catered to this new ecosystem by the end of the year.

Job Description

== WHAT YOU WILL DO ==

- You will build frontend mobile & desktop UI for BlockPunk’s suite of decentralized apps (dApps) by integrating APIs & smart contracts

- You will be involved in all parts of the product life cycle: idea generation, design, prototyping, planning, execution & shipping.

- You will continuously ship and iterate on our suite of products while maintaining high reliability with focus on great user experience.

- You will work closely with the founders and influence the product and technology strategy as we develop our suite of blockchain based products for filmmakers.

== WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR ==

- 3+ years experience building front-end applications using latest client-side web technologies

- Strong Javascript expertise, deep knowledge of HTML4/5, CSS3 and experience building with React and React Native

- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure like AWS, API development and Unix/Linux environments.

- Knowledge of agile engineering development practices, automated testing methodologies and writing clear documentation.

- Communicate clearly & effectively about technical concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.

- Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment with fast iterations while maintaining focus on code quality, site reliability and user experience.

- BS/BA in an technical discipline or equivalent experience.

- Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.
