Job Description
The Opportunity
BlueHill Asset Management’s Marketing and Business Development internship program allows motivated and passionate undergraduates to spend a fulfilling attachment immersing and engaging themselves in various growth stage companies under our investment portfolio.
The selected interns will earn their spots working alongside BlueHill’s management team and entrepreneurs across different verticals, providing opportunities to pick up useful soft skills and technical knowledge from highly experienced teams. The program allows interns to gain ownership over varied projects with measurable impact and help the companies through the next level of growth.
What to expect
A fully hands on and integral role with invaluable exposure to marketing and business development functions.
Planning and Strategy
Understand the fundamental drivers of the businesses, and the business of their customers, partners and competitors. Identify and assess potential opportunities to create tactical business strategy. Shape marketing strategy of new approaches and campaigns, ensuring brand consistency.
Marketing
Assist in the creation, development, execution and revision of marketing and communication materials. Increase brand awareness and publicity of BlueHill and portfolio companies via well-crafted media releases and participation in relevant events/exhibitions.
Business Development
Conduct market research and actively identify prospective businesses to uncover their unmet needs. Design effective communication strategies for target markets. Professionally represent companies to potential clients through face-to-face meetings, networking and sales calls.
Relationship Management
Reach out to current partners/clients and explore the potential of developing new opportunities. In short, getting in the door and leaving it open.
