BlueSG Pte Ltd – Product Design Intern

As a Product Design Intern, you will be involved in helping to create the design system that Product Designers, Engineers, and Product Managers use to design and develop at BlueSG. Using your understanding in design patterns, you will own creating a consistent and predictable look and feel for our products. You will ensure design quality across our platforms and facets.

Along with this, you will work closely with Product Designers assisting in user research and other design tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

Assist in creation and implementation of a comprehensive design system that encompasses guidelines for design principles, UI components, patterns, and usage. Ensure the design system is scalable, maintainable, accessible, and documented.

Work closely with designers and engineers to ensure design system is properly implemented and adopted. Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate on design system.

Perform audit across platforms to ensure design system is correctly applied

Support the design team in various design-related tasks as needed

Assist in planning and conducting user research with our users alongside product designers

Requirements

Undergraduate in Product Design, HCI, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or related field.

Experience working with Figma

Passionate about design systems; have experience creating design systems is a plus

Meticulous and strong attention to detail

Understanding in design patterns and strong interest in UI/UX

Be collaborative and communicate effectively

Good time management skills, strong planning, and organizational abilities
