About the Role
We are looking for outgoing sales reps to join our growing business development team, leading the charge on direct sales for Singapore and the wider APAC region. With the guidance of our founders and Business Development Manager, you will be directly involved in delivering growth in the F&B and hospitality SMB and mid-market segment.
You will become immersed in the local F&B scene, using network and research skills to engage new customers. You’ll be making the first impression, introducing SMBs to the future of financial automation with Bluesheets, and driving our business forward by adopting a customer centric approach to growth.
Working closely with the founders in this small, close-knit team you are customer-obsessed, have a knack for building relationships, and above all are an efficient operator that thrives in a fast-paced environment. Our team fosters a culture of open communication, cross-functional teamwork and a strong sense of ownership. This means you will have a lot of autonomy, learn a lot and have the support of a collaborative team behind you!
What you’ll do
Use lead generation methods to source and engage businesses that will benefit from our solution
Source new potential clients, initiate contact, and develop relationships
Evaluate our sales strategy to grow our client base in successful segments
Build strong relationships with your clients and ensure you delight them as we scale
Work with business operations / analytics to understand your conversions, finding ways to continuously sales processes
Actively identify upsell and referral opportunities within our existing customer base
Brainstorm creative initiatives with marketing to hack user growth and take over your city!
Communicate product/process needs, working directly with the founders and product team to improve & deliver those needs
- Work on ad-hoc projects to help move the business forward
About you
Minimum 6 months of experience in sales, partnerships or customer success
If no experience, display a strong willingness to learn and innovate!
Track record of success generating deals through in person sales and cold calling
Exposure to a sales or account management processes
Experience, or a keen interest, in sales process optimization
A growth mindset, constantly looking for ways to improve and supercharge your skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication, you’re comfortable striking up a conversation with anyone
Knowledge of finance, back-office admin or hospitality tech & operations preferred but not essential
A genuine passion for bringing solutions to customer problems; we are transforming the way SMBs do business and want to work exclusively with individuals who love bringing joy to our users!
