Job Description

Job Title: Sustainable Technologies Intern 

Start Date: January 2025 

Position Overview: 

Join our Group-level Sustainability and Technology team, where you’ll play a key role in researching, designing, and implementing innovative waste management solutions for our clients. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the integration of digital and green technologies in an essential, fast-evolving industry. You’ll work alongside professionals dedicated to advancing sustainability, reducing waste, and enhancing resource recovery. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Ecosystem Research: Assist in identifying, evaluating, and implementing emerging sustainable technologies for waste management. You'll research cutting-edge trends, analyze their potential, and match them with client needs—all while ensuring compliance with evolving industry regulations. 

Data Collection & Analysis: Support the gathering and analysis of data to evaluate the performance of sustainable technologies and track key ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) metrics. 

Collaborative Projects: Work alongside cross-functional teams—including operations, sales, and R&D—to facilitate the adoption of sustainable technologies both internally and for clients. You will contribute to collaborative efforts to enhance efficiency and drive environmental impact. 

Qualifications: 

- Currently pursuing a degree in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. 

- Passionate about sustainability and waste management technologies. 

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate insights. 

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. 

- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. 

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus. 

- Knowledge of sustainability frameworks, waste management practices, or green technologies is an advantage.
