We are a business consultancy firm incorporated under the Singapore Companies Act. We are looking for undergrads specialising in Law/Business/Banking/Finance/Economics or related fields to join us for our Internship Program.
This internship program aims to provide a holistic approach to building up the candidate's portfolio through 2 areas: Networking and Comparative Advantage.
For Networking:
Candidates would be expected to network with professionals which may include Accountants, Consumer Bankers, Corporate Bankers, Investment Bankers, Mortgage Asset Consultants, Treasurers, Chief Financial Officers and Corporate lawyers. During the networking session, candidate may enquire on the job scopes of these professionals, thus enabling a two way communication opportunity which may lead to future apprenticeship and mentorship program with the respective professional
For Comparative Advantage:
Candidates may be exposed to IPO (Initial Public Offerings) Trainings by Corporate Lawyers. They might also be exposed to Investment instruments which may include Exchange Traded Funds, Unit Trusts, Forex and etc. Candidates will be taught how to build up AUM - Asset Under Management, which is a key performance indicator used in the banking industry.
During the training, candidates would be exposed to these areas: Corporate Trade Facilities (Bank), ETFs , Corporate Finance, AUM & Unit Trusts, Insurance, Financial Law, Mortgage Consultancy, Wills and Assets Distribution and Accountancy.
Candidates will look forward to building their knowledge on a list of subjects, including
1) Dual Currency and Forex Investments
2) Exchange Traded Funds
3) Real Estate Investment Trusts
4) Contract Law and their application in the Business/Entrepreneur world
5) Lasting Power of Attorney, Wills and Trusts
6) Unit trusts and Hedging Strategies
7) Funds Management
8) Economic Principles on Investments
This will undoubtedly enhance a candidate's resume and portfolio as top performing candidates will be issued Certificates/Workshop Participation testimonials. In addition, candidates may expect to network with Private Bankers, Corporate Bankers, Treasurers, Accountants, Lawyers, Investment Strategists and Fund Managers to build up their network. Candidates may expect an allowance ranging from $2000-3000 per month for the internship program. Candidates will assist in the Business development function during the internship program. Also, Interns will be required to provide financial services once they have completed training.
