We are a small firm handling highly dynamic clients and on the hunt for an intern interested in learning all aspects of the public relations and marketing field. The intern who fills this position should expect to learn the field from top to bottom, and will emerge from this programme with valuable experience, armed with practical skills to enter the fast-paced public relations and marketing industry.
Applicants for this position should possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate creativity, and appreciate the adage that the god is in the details! No two days are the same, as you would have the opportunity to experience the day-to-day job scope of a marketing and PR executive.
Responsibilities- Brainstorm campaign ideas
- Assist at photoshoots
- Create social media posts
- Write press releases and other materials
- Respond to media requests for materials
- Assist at events
- Monitor all forms of media
- Collate press clippings and assist in production of media reports
Applicants for this internship must have strong communication skills and should be majoring in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or Journalism. However, those with a strong interest in the industry may also be considered. Applicants should also have strong writing skills, as well as a solid understanding of social media.
