Job Description

Purpose Statement

The HR Intern will be part of the HR Business partner (HRBP) team based in our regional headquarters in Singapore. Under the guidance of the Senior HRBP Manager, he/she will play a key role in contributing to and providing project coordination and support to the Singapore HRBP team members in meeting the key project milestones/deliverables for the regional HR transformation project leading to the go-live date. The internship will also provide good exposure to HR functions such as HRBP and HR Operations.

 

Roles & Responsibilities 

  • Assist and support the Singapore HRBP team in timely delivery of key project deliverables for the HR transformation project 
  • Be the liaison between internal HR stakeholders in ensuring smooth completion/implementation of project milestones delivery 
  • Propose any workflow / process improvements and/or potential automation opportunity
  • Collaborate with IT/Digitalization team on automation of processes including participating in user acceptance tests as applicable
  • Identify areas for improvement in the current onboarding process and propose innovative ideas to digitalize and transform it into a distinct and compelling experience for our new employees 
  • Explore, propose and execute creative ways to engage our employees to further enhance the workplace as a great place to work 
  • Provide day-to-day HR operational support (e.g. Coffee with Newbies coordination, assist with general HR enquiries, interview arrangements etc.)
  • Other relevant HR duties, projects or initiatives as assigned 

 

Requirements 

  • At least a 2nd year undergraduate in Business Management/Administration with a major in HR or equivalent 
  • Well verse in Microsoft 365 suite (e.g. PPT, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) 
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of all data and information 
  • Proactive and possesses a positive attitude 
  • Meticulous, organized and eager to learn with ability to ensure accuracy in day-to-day work 
  • Self-initiated, resourceful and tech-savvy 
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills 
  • Team player and enjoys working in a diversified environment
