Boxgreen is looking for a high-energy and no-task-too-small intern with a passion for food and health/wellness to support the Ecommerce Team. Through this internship, you will gain an incredible amount of hands-on experience and an in-depth insight on how to design and improve our ecommerce websites and applications.
What You Will Do
- Push code, own architectural decisions for an ecommerce team deploying daily across consumer-facing, and internal-facing platforms; back-end web services.
- Work alongside the CEO to help set the development roadmap and bring to market novel technology solutions
- Determine the structure and design of web pages, ensuring user experience determines design choices
- Optimising web pages for speed and scalability
- Assist in implementing and supporting web development and application projects
- Conceptualize and prototype UI/UX solutions of web platform from user’s perspective
- Craft design solutions with functional, logical and interactive insights.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Good technical understanding and knowledge of system architecture
- Able to work independently
- Experience in product, design, or other position complementary to software engineering will be preferred.
- Intermediate HTML, CSS, front-end scripting, .net programming knowledge or JavaScript with understanding of relational databases will be preferred
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills combined with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders
