As our Supply Chain Intern, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making and process
optimization within our supply chain operations. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our talented
team to enhance our supply chain analytics capabilities, utilizing coding skills and Microsoft Power BI expertise.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the SCIP Hub team to identify data-driven opportunities for process improvements and supply chain optimizations.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance coding-based tools and scripts to streamline data collection, transformation, and analysis processes.
• Design, create, and maintain interactive and insightful Microsoft Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize supply chain data and key performance metrics.
• Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies within supply chain data, contributing to actionable insights.
• Support data integration efforts across various supply chain systems and databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Stay current with emerging trends in supply chain analytics, coding practices, and Power BI features, and proactively bring innovative ideas to the team.
• Understanding our current processes and support daily/weekly report generation and ad hoc task required
• Work with the supply chain operations team to analyse data from various sources (eg. ERP, Rapid Response ,PBI etc)
• Identify opportunities to optimize supply chain processes and procedures through data analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop report/processes to reduce complexity and improve efficiency
• Present findings and insights to the supply chain operations team for next course of action
• Display keen interest in the Digital space (web page, Gen AI, ChatGpt etc.)
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Computer Science, etc.
• Knowledge of any analytics or visualization platform coding languages such as Python, R, Tableu, MS VBA or similar languages.
• Prior experience with Microsoft Power BI report development is a plus.
• Familiarity with data manipulation, transformation, and visualization techniques.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks within established timelines.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
