We're an early stage startup with the ambition to revolutionise retail and drive the convergence of offline and online retail with an influencer-driven shopping platform. The founding team has experience and contacts in the retail sector and were the founders and Senior executives of a fashion e-commerce company in Asia that was sold for 700 million EUR in 2015.
For our new venture, we are looking for passionate fashion enthusiasts with basic computer skills to help us enrich inspirational fashion images by using our proprietary image enrichment platform.
Overall Responsibilities:
The intern will be helping our startup in 2 main scopes:
1. Specialised Scope: Fashion Image Enrichment (training provided)
2. General Scope: Business Administrative & Design
Skills & Requirements:
- Interested in startup, fashion, design and e-commerce
- Able to rate fashion image along different criteria, i.e. quality of image, fashion ability, lighting, background (we will provide training)
- Proficiency and extensive experience in computer (we will provide browser based tool)
- Proficiency and extensive experience in Adobe Photoshop, illustrator and related programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel and related)
- Knowledge in HTML / CSS / JSON and Word Press would be an added advantage but not required
- Able to work precise and high-quality output driven with impeccable attention to detail
- Performance mentality (achieve more, make more)
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Adaptability – quick learner. Self- motivated, responsible, and able to work independent.
Detailed Tasks:
1. Specialised Scope: Fashion Image Enrichment
As an image enrichment agent you are required to perform three different tasks, for which we will provide our image enrichment platform, which is a browser-based tool:
- Grade inspirational images (street shot images) along different dimensions
- Identify fashion products on inspirational images, mark those and categorise them
- Find related products (exact match or similar) shown on inspirational images in our large catalogue of fashion products
Depending on the workload you will work on any of the above tasks and you will require to perform as many images as possible, maintaining a high quality output.
2. General Scope: Business Administrative & Design
You will also work closely with the Creative Director and support the Engineer team in occasional tasks with regards to develop the design concept, content and operational materials for mobile app.
