Harnessing the support of the public sector and private enterprises, Business China, as a non-profit organisation, aims to strengthen the ties between Singapore and China, so as to sustain and grow the global connectivity of Singapore through:
- Becoming the leading bilingual and bicultural channel for closer collaboration with China.
- Establishing a widespread appreciation and acceptance of Chinese language and culture, within the multi-ethnic, multi-cultural mosaic that is fundamental to the Singapore identity.
- Nurturing young Singaporeans to develop deeper links with China, engaging it in all facets including economic, business, social, cultural and educational.
About Strategic Communications & Partnerships
The Strategic Communications & Partnerships team oversees Business China's communication and partnership engagement strategies.
As a member of our small but dynamic team, you will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and partners to drive Business China’s mission and vision to nurture an inclusive bilingual and bicultural group of Singaporeans, sustain our multi-cultural heritage, and develop a cultural and economic bridge linking the world and China.
You will be the brand custodian for Business China and help plan, develop and execute content, media, marketing and stakeholder engagement initiatives to support a broad range of Business China’s strategic objectives and outcomes in Singapore and abroad.
This is a diverse and exciting role ideal for an experienced communications and marketing professional who is equally comfortable writing in both English and Chinese. If this sounds like you, we welcome you to join us.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support the creation of marketing materials, such as key visuals, videos, eDMs, banners, backdrop, publications and so on.
- Assist with translation, writing and proofreading in both English and Chinese languages.
- Support the team in ad-hoc projects.
- Any other tasks, duties or responsibilities designated by the Manager.
Requirements:
- Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin in written and verbal communication.
- Interest in China and international relations will be an advantage.
- Being a self-starter with a positive attitude is essential.
- Comfortable with MS Office, Photoshop, Canva, other graphic design and video production software/apps will be an advantage.
- Singapore Citizens/PRs may apply.
