The Asset Management department is responsible for BW Group vessels management activities such as investment/divestment of vessels, identify business opportunities, generate returns through asset play, long term projects and/or forward paper markets as well as supporting other business units in their sales and purchase activities through service agreements.
Responsibilites:
- Update, verify and maintain records of vessel details and tonnage transactions in the company's Master Data Management (MDM) database
- Gain knowledge and skills related to the industry and apply knowledge to the tasks assigned
- Monitor and analyse market trends
- Assist with the preparation of monthly report
- Assist with the vessel(s) sales and purchase delivery documentation
- Assist and responsible for sending out routine reports
- Participate in any other ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities as required
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate a good attitude and willing to learn fundamentals of shipping market and basic financial knowledge
- Ability to work in a precise and accurate manner while under time pressure
- Well versed with Microsoft Office products (i.e Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Good presentation skills and be able to communicate well; both verbally and in a written format
- Good collaboration and team player, fit well with the team
