- Usage of specialised equipments for diagnosis and testing and maintain them to be in good working condition.
- Conduct eye/vision examination/refraction and taking accurate measurement.
- Check patient’s ocular health and fitting of coloured contact lenses.
- Issue prescription for coloured contact lenses and display good knowledge of products.
- Coach first-time contact lens wearers.
- Provide customers with professional advice and consultation on vision related matters and recommend eyecare solutions accordingly.
- Manage customer records of eye health and purchases
Requirements:
- Applicant must be registered under the Optometrist and Optician Board.
- Minimum Diploma in Optometry.
- Able to work independently.
- Able to commit retail hours.
- Retail experience in the related field is a plus.
- Interest in beauty is a plus.
