The core responsibility of the Finance Department is to offer a high quality of accounting and treasury services for Canopius Asia Pacific operations by maintaining accounting data quality, ensuring smooth daily cash operations, efficient liquidity management as well as risk compliance governance efforts.
Responsibilities will include:
- Performing day to day financial transactions including bank verification for new suppliers, classification and recording of receipts to claims form and preparation of bills, invoices and deposits
- Managing and maintaining up to date and accurate records of receivables and payables arising from business transactions by policy level
- Supporting the reports download and reconciliation updates of bank accounts as assigned and follow up outstanding items
- Assisting in project improvement initiatives to streamline and improve existing reporting templates or processes

- Students pursuing a tertiary course or degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline.
- Strong interpersonal skills, good teamwork and collaboration skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Curious problem solvers who enjoy learning new things, working with others, and continuously growing their interpersonal and technical skills
- Knowledge or prior experience in a (re)insurance related company is advantageous
