Founded in 2015, CaptionCube provides quality captioning, subtitling, transcription and translation services for broadcast and education sectors with a focus on English and Chinese.
As a social enterprise, CaptionCube stands for inclusiveness through enhancing accessibility in communication for the deaf, hard of hearing community and non-native speakers through captions and subtitles. At the core of its social mission, CaptionCube empowers inclusive employment through remote working arrangements for persons with physical disabilities and autism.
Social Collective is a new business service launched by CaptionCube in June 2020 aimed to further its efforts raising awareness on inclusion and social causes. It is a one-stop online store that features products from different social enterprises and charity organisations.
-Audit existing marketing communications and align/update them accordingly and manage the creation of the necessary content e.g. write-ups and collaterals to best meet the needs of the target audience.
-Support marketing efforts in promoting CaptionCube and/or Social Collective’s brand and services
-Identify, prospect and develop sales strategies to secure new key clients. This will include referrals, sales calls, competitive analysis, networking, in-office presentations and participation at trade shows and professional conferences.
-Research and analyse the latest developments in the market and propose refined or new revenue models and/or strategies.
-Validate new business ideas with the use of business model canvas and carry out surveys/ experiments/ pilots to validate the different hypotheses.
-Pursue potential grants that would support the funding of these pilots or capability building projects
