Job description & requirements

This is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual to join on a 6-month Business Operations Associate internship.
Reporting to the Head of Business Operations, you will primarily focus on data analytics and market research and insights, to help drive the company’s ambitions in international expansion and internal optimization.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with CardUp’s Head of Business Operations to provide insights about our business and customers through analysis of large data sets.
• Conduct market research on potential new market opportunities, communicating them to senior management is concise, insightful ways. 
• Ad hoc support with data requests and analytics for internal reporting and accountability.
• Provide ad hoc support with customer servicing, company administration and presentations.

Requirements

• We are looking for a proactive individual with an ability to problem solve and an ability to distil complex, raw data and extract clear, commercially-valuable insights.
• Experience in data manipulation, presentation and understanding of basic financial analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time and prioritise work in order to stick to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent communication skills and personal qualities of integrity, credibility and quality. 
• Strong command of the English language (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of SQL or similar is highly meriting.
