Carrier Singapore (Pte) Limited – Engineering Intern

Key Responsibilities/Tasks

1. Support in key retrofit projects

• Identify gaps & improvement measures in current measurement tool
• Participate actively in discussions (including UI, energy calculations etc) & provide suggestions
• Provide support for effective tool utilization, and create an impact on energy conservation proposals
• Track & support tool roll-out thorough cross-coordination with multiple teams

 2. New & upcoming retrofit projects

• Support for new & upcoming retrofit package launches
• Conduct competitive research on similar offerings & identify/collate new key offerings in the market

3. Adhoc Projects

• Support team with any ongoing projects, including supporting regional requests, collating engineering materials & coordinating support
• Provide inputs in marketing materials for sketches/designs that involve mechanical parts and technical know-how knowledge

Minimum Requirements

• Is undergoing undergraduate studies in engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
• Fast learner and keen eye for detail
• Good interpersonal skills and must possess sufficient technical know-how in order to support the team
• Demonstrates flexibility and good organizational skills
• Candidates with background in mechanical engineering preferred as they will need to understand the technical aspects of chiller plant systems and the energy conservation measures in order to work efficiently
