Carro’s expansion coincides with exponential year-on-year growth, recording over US$100 million worth of transactions in 2016, with figures doubling to over US$250 million in 2017 and again doubling to US$500 million in 2018. In 2020, the total transactions stand at over US$1 billion.
In August 2019, Carro closed their Series B funding round at US$90 million. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a flair for design to intern with us at Carro. Someone who is self-motivated, dedicated to their craft and loves coming up with fresh ideas. Most importantly, someone who’s willing to learn from and be a part of our talented, diverse and growing in-house creative team, and assist in bringing Carro’s brand and image to life.
What you will do:
Create thoughtful design and communicate concepts on campaigns, consistent with our brand values and tonality. From design comps to final deliverables, you’ll work to meet the standards set by the Creative Director and Senior Creatives on 360-campaigns, spanning OOH and digital marketing collaterals.
Collaborate with regional and local account managers, fellow designers, copywriters and partner agencies to conceptualise, execute and present creative work of a high quality where necessary, in line with the direction, strategies and feedback given.
Requirements:
- Candidates who are pursuing a diploma/degree in Art or Design or similar field of study OR those who have recently graduated.
- Portfolio that shows a good eye for design.
- Ability to commit from July – October.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant graphic design tools like Figma. A working understanding of coding is a bonus.
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work under the guidance of a Creative Director and other senior team members.
- Ability to handle pressure and work within tight timelines.
