Job Description

his role is tasked with independent planning and executing, implementation of procedures and maintaining the overall good and operational condition of our fleet of launches. You will be required to supervise and execute the deployment of its daily maintenance schedule.

I. Maintenance and Repair

· Independent planning and execution of Master schedule, preventive and ad-hoc maintenance schedule. Keep a proper and up to date record of all maintenance checklist.

· Maintain a proper record of requisition of consumables items and issued items to each boat.

· Maintaining a relevant Vendor/ Suppliers list including quote comparison, (lead-time, quality, cost, payment, etc) for yearly evaluation and propose a half yearly cost savings methods to management.

· Submission of monthly summary/detailed reports to management.

· Arrange and attend on-site boat surveys, MPA inspections, sea-trials, MPA meetings, as and when required.

· Prepare and ensure all boat registry, HC licences and documentations are valid, and up to date.

· Conducting of a routine internal inspection of boat’s engines and equipment, and to ensure a safe and proper working condition on board.

· Review and maintain all statutory regulations, safety procedures and certifications on board.

· Proposing to management and implementation of work procedures/ processes for a more efficient and productive system.

· Managing a maintenance team including interviewing, hiring, deployment of work assignment and well-being of mechanics.

· Liaising with boatmen, operations team for the planning and execution of dry dock, shipyard repair work, ensure timely delivery of supplies.

· Preparation of incident report and prepare documentation for pursue for compensation while assessing damage/ defect, liaising with mechanics /shipyard for repair and closing.

· Track and monitor all repair work progress, stores and spare supplies, modification related works.

· Update management on work process and updates.

· Carry out any other ad-hoc work as assigned.

 

II. Operations

· Responsible for overall maintenance progress to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. Assist in safety audits and attend meetings when required.

· Liaise with customers on technical and operations matters including vessel performance, sea-trial, etc.

· Assist in projects and other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
