Castlery – Graphic Design Intern

Castlery is seeking Graphic Design Interns to join our creative team.

You should be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, and have a passion for design, technology, entertainment and the changing media landscape. You must be extremely well organized and methodical while retaining a creative edge for strategic brainstorming and thinking outside the box to find new, better approaches to expanding our visual appearance.

What you will learn

·      How to plan your design calendar

·      The principle of web design in different browser resolutions

·      Application of design in a both online and store retail space

·      Understand the approach of branding management through design

Responsibilties

·      Assist creative department with various design tasks

·      Learn to design effectively for all marketing channels

·      Creatively solve problems from the concept of ideas to carrying them out through designs and layouts

·      Manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities

·      Work independently and collaboratively

Qualifications

·       Length of internship: 3 months

·       Proficient with: Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator

·       Eye for typography, color, and layout

·       Strong visual design skills

·       Focused on details and quality

·       Excellent communication, writing, documentation and presentation skills
