Catalyst Maths and Science is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Teaching Assistants to join our dynamic team. As a Teaching Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our educators and fostering a positive learning environment for students.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Assist teachers in preparing instructional materials and classroom activities.
2. Provide one-to-one lessons for students (Monetary increments can be discussed upon assignment of small group classes, based on applicant’s performance)
3. Supervise students during class, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
4. Assist in grading assignments and providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
5. Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
**Requirements:**
1. Open for candidates currently pursuing a diploma or for students who have recently completed their O or A Levels. Candidates who minimally possess a diploma will be preferred.
2. Candidates have to commit to work hours assigned.
3. Prior teaching experience is not required. Training and materials will be provided.
4. A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
7. Basic understanding of math and science concepts.
8. Only Singapore Citizens or Singapore PRs may apply.
**Salary Range:**
$15 - $30 / hour (depending on applicant’s experience and levels/subject assigned)
