We are currently seeking an experienced professional to undertake the development of a comprehensive Master Plan for Cox's Bazar District, located in southeastern Bangladesh, widely recognized for its stunning natural beauty and long sandy beach, which is considered one of the longest uninterrupted sea beaches in the world, stunning natural beauty and long sandy beach, which is considered one of the longest uninterrupted sea beaches in the world.
The project scope encompasses the development of a detailed master plan for the sustainable development of Cox's Bazar. This will include the following key deliverables: Comprehensive Assessment; Resource Inventory; Industry and Livelihood Analysis; Cultural Heritage Assessment; Infrastructure and Assets Mapping; Sustainable Development Strategies; Implementation Framework; and any additional elements deemed necessary for the successful completion of the project.
The climate Adaptation Expert should work under the Team Leader; He will lead the Regional Resilience and Climate Risk Assessment, Coastal Resilience and Climate Action Plan and will closely work with the team for Multi-Hazard Risk Assessment to be conducted by respective experts for respective hazards; Conduct Vulnerability for All Related Hazards. He will Conduct Vulnerability Modeling for Floods, Cyclones, and Tsunamis and will advise on Resilience and Climate Aspects, and be also responsible to carry out environmental studies and policies. He will be also responsible to carry out the studies, planning, and management techniques of foreseeable Disasters and will formulate Disaster management policies. Attending meetings as and when required.

Qualification Criteria:
Should have a Master's Degree in Integrated Coastal Zone Management, Climate Change, Subsidence or related technical discipline.
Should have a minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience in disaster management at national and international levels, including risk mitigation of actual expert services rendered.
Should have experience in conducting studies for master plans of similar magnitude and nature.
