About the role:
Reporting to APAC Head of the Automotive sector, the Market Analysis Intern will have the opportunity gain insights into the Auto industry, looking at trends and involve themselves in customer development in the ASEAN region. The intern will also look into the supply chain dynamics and technological advancements in the Automotive sector. This 6-month internship commences in July 2025.
What you will be doing:
- Gain knowledge of key OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), Tier 1 & Tier 2 suppliers, Rubber and Tyres sector, 2 Wheelers (Motorbikes)
- Awareness of emerging trends (EVs, autonomous vehicles, mobility-as-a-service, sustainability regulations).
- Tracking government policies & incentives for electric and hybrid vehicles.
- Scope: Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore
The successful candidate:
- Undergraduate or Graduate student in Supply Chain Management / Industrial & System Engineering / Auto related fields
- Proficiency in data collection methods (surveys, interviews, web scraping, database extraction)
- Able to interpret large datasets and extract meaningful insights
- Advanced excel (VBA Macro)
