Job Description


  • Effective and efficient communications with all stakeholders
  • Manage disruptions and crisis that present risk to the supply chain
  • Monitor KPIs and continuous improvement opportunities
  • Ensure adherence to established work standards and work processes
  • Ongoing onboarding and training of vendors SOP and systems use
  • Induct and train vendors, both initial and ongoing
  • Implement changes to processes or policies as determined by the process owners
  • First point of contact for all operational issues with the customer
  • Track compliance performance of 3PL providers and carriers
  • Support the preparation of periodic reporting, monthly reviews and quarterly business reviews
  • Support contract/account manager to ensure quality metrics are achieved including on time performance, data accuracy, invoicing timeliness and accuracy
  • Suggest corrective actions as necessary to prevent / address issues as they arise

 

Job Requirements:

  • Able to commit to 1 year contract, subject to conversion to perm
  • Minimum qualification of Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain / Business Administration or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Operational experience in Freight forwarding logistics and International Supply Chain Management preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of Supply Chain Management concepts and logistics processes
  • Knowledge of transportation/warehouse management systems
  • Able to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin- speaking vendors
  • On the job training will be provided

 

Other Information:

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 5:30pm, Saturday: 8:30am to 12:30pm
  • Company shuttle available from Aljunied & Potong Pasir MRT
