tinkermind (CG Education & Technology Solutions) advocates a hands-on & minds-on approach to tinker and create objects in our maker-centric education programmes. Our programmes are designed and implemented to strengthen interest in STEAM and build capabilities in problem solving and 21st century learning competencies. Since being founded in September 2018, tinkermind has developed and delivered maker-centric learning materials and content to numerous partners, including Anglo-Chinese School (Independent), Fuhua Primary School, Tanjong Katong Primary School, and many others. We are also the anchor operator, programming and staffing provider for several public makerspaces.

You are a Maker and the face of our public makerspaces. These learning environments can be found in schools, libraries and other educational facilities.
As a Maker Coach, your projects are your passion and you delight in the possibility of sharing that passion with others. You are patient with new learners and provide the time and space for them to exercise their Maker muscles and develop the same unique skills that you have mastered from your many experiments and mistakes. You enable discovery through your actions and have a smile on your face through the process. Seeing others make things bring you joy.
Responsibilities
● Provide exemplary customer service and facilitate a safe and comfortable making atmosphere in the public makerspace.
● Conduct and/or facilitate programmes and activities both on-site and off-site, and to engage well with participants during these interactions.
● Contribute in content creation and delivery of said content in an on-site and online environment
● Display skill and care whilst conducting technical physical and digital making workshop content.
● Provide one-to-one guidance and on-site tech support of tools and equipment for the users of the makerspace.
● Support the Centre Managers in ensuring that the makerspace is clean, comfortable and accommodating for all programmes and audiences.
● Support the Centre Managers in opening and closing the makerspace in accordance with established procedures and in ensuring that health and safety guidelines are adhered to within the makerspace.
● Support the Centre Managers in ensuring that all tools and equipment are well-maintained and are in deployable conditions, and in maintaining an updated inventory of small parts and materials.
