Job Description

Platform Operations Intern (SMC) 

We are looking for a Platform Operations Intern to provide operational support for SMC, Samsung’s main asset repository platform in the South-East Asia and Oceania region. As the Platform Operations Intern, you will assist in all SMC-related tasks such as optimizing usage and performing the day-to-day operations. You will get exposure to work with the global platform team, based in the UK. 

Responsibility:

  • Manage user requests and onboard platform users through training sessions or user guides
  • Monitor user activity like user login and asset upload and identify which markets in the region are not performing and why
  • Support in measuring and reporting the overall regional performance in the platform according to KPIs
  • Work with marketing managers to support creating folder structures according to their campaign needs
  • Support local agencies in using the platform correctly and ensuring assets are uploaded with the correct metadata and file restrictions
  • Review content for the local market and maintain graphic resolution standards for image files
  • Assess copyrighted documents and license expiry of files
  • Sustain consistency in asset quality, performing Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC)
  • Aligning requirements for global rollouts from Samsung HQ
  • Troubleshooting any minor issues users might come across or detecting and reporting major issues to the support team 
  • Coordinating with key stakeholders for each market to ensure registered users are up-to-date 

Requirements:

  • Someone who likes to keep things orderly and has great organizational skills
  • You like implementing improvements to systems and working efficiently
  • Some knowledge with similar platforms or services and good sense of file quality
  • Some knowledge or experience with data analysis, providing data-driven insights and feedback to ensure the best evaluation
  • Someone who can work well individually
  • Understanding of marketing campaigns will be a great plus
