As an APAC Retail Performance Intern, you are part of the Regional Retail Performance & Operations Team, supporting both Boutiques and Retail Office operations Teams in our 13 Markets. You report to Regional Retail Performance & Operations Manager and his team.
You strive for excellence in our operations while providing optimisation of existing and implementation of new processes. The ultimate objective is Client and Employee improved experience and journeys.
Our main areas of focus are Customer & Care Services, Digital Tools & Projects, POS & Cash Management, Boutique Back Of House (= BOH) Optimisation Maintenance, Stock Management and Process & finally Internal Control.
This internship focuses on Store Projects and BOH Operations optimisation, you will notably:
- Anticipate and identify markets needs for Store Projects and BOH Operations optimisation
- Understand BOH analysis/knowledge/design at Market Level and make recommendation, follow up design and co-validate execution
- Coordinate between Markets and Regional Teams on Design briefing requirements for new store openings (floor planning of BOH, mens womens section, stock area)
- Preparation and updates of Excel documents on timeline / follow up of Store projects
- Other add hocs requests concerning Retail Performance Department
Deploy retail related projects and applications.
- Her/His objective is to plan and organize roll out/run phase as well as to ensure trainings, also prepare boutique staff on embracing changes. She/He is responsible for the successful implementation and execution of the project.
- Following the roll-out, he/she will partner up with different department or country reference on the follow up and organize regular visits (collect feedback, provide basic support and new evolution if needed).
Support and work closely with Country Referent on the retail/CRM tool “Dior Star”
Assist Retail Performance Project Manager in different aspect and other retail projects. E.g.
Presentations: gather and summarize information from various sources requested.
Ensure timely completion on all the projects and mission
Education
Bachelor’s degree/Graduate diploma from Retail Marketing, Business Management or other related disciplines
Work Experience
- Previous relevant internship experience ideally in the luxury retail industry
- Experience in store projects and/or retail operations will be advantageous
Qualities
- Detail-minded / Pro active
- Well Organized and Capacity at managing important projects
- Self-motivated, capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- Proactive with strong communication skills (excellent command of both English and Chinese).
- IT savvy and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint & Excel)
