OVERALL KEY POSITION OBJECTIVE
To assist the Regional Communications department with all communications admin matters so that service levels for all businesses and corporate needs are met
Major Responsibilities
Media Monitoring – Traditional & Social: With the help of various monitoring platforms, scan the coverage on the company & competitors for compilation & distribution to internal stakeholders - 30%
Brand management and Advertising & Promotional support: Assist with the preparation & review of marketing collaterals, branded event management resources & corporate giveaways to ensure brand compliance - 25%
Visual imagery management: Act as the custodian of the image library & source for visuals to meet business needs - 10%
Internal Communications: Assist with content preparation [writing & editing] for the quarterly internal newsletters – Life & Non-life. Source for & upload content for the social intranet - 25%
Any other projects and administration tasks assigned to provide marketing support to colleagues in the region and to the Communications dept - 10%
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education
Certificate in Administration, LCCI Diploma, Polytechnic Diploma
3-4 years working experience in an administrative capacity and/or experience in working within a Communications Dept
2. Knowledge, skills and abilities
Proficient in English both written and oral
Experienced in media monitoring
Able to write & edit simple articles
Tech-savvy with some knowledge of graphic design/photo-shop, MS Office suite
Experience in handling admin matters
Energetic with good interpersonal skills
An eye for detail especially for brand management
Resourceful and proactive in seeing projects through
