This internship stint is within the Transaction Banking Cash Management team covering Solution Management in Singapore.

  • The Intern under Solution Manager is responsible for client engagement at the on-boarding phase as the first point of engagement to the client during the engagement process
  • He/she will make outbound calls to qualify and convince the customer on electronic channel usage. He/she will need to understand and explain to the customers CIMB’s unique selling point and the various transaction types available on electronic channel. Perform basic requirement gathering through understanding customer’s transactional requirements
  • This involvement is primarily in the form of outbound calls to the client and requires him/her to have a basic understanding on the workings of the SME segment (and beyond) in terms of their cash flow management
  • He/she is required to work closely with Solution Managers to secure user training appointments with successful turn up
  • He/she is also required to assist in managing the turnaround time of application submissions to the registration team and is required to understand the system design and may be required to communicate documentation requirements to internal stakeholders (RM community)
  • Adhoc-assignments on workflow process improvement and good excel skills is a good to have

 Required Competencies and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and telephone skills. Bubbly and energetic personality
  • Good excel skills, to be able to write formulas and automate workflow processes (good to have)
  • 3 to 6 months subject to candidate’s availability (min 3 days per week basis)
