As one of the top skin care companies worldwide, with a strong position in Europe and the Americas and growth accelerating in Asia, we’re looking for a Sales and Marketing Intern based in Singapore.
THE ROLE:
The Sales and Marketing Intern will have to:
- Assist the Area Manager with the definition and implementation of marketing strategies in Agents markets
- Support the Agents team in every aspect of developing the business across Asia Pacific
This position requires strong organization and follow up skills, along with good communication and interpersonal qualities. He/she will liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to participate in the development of the Clarins brand in the various markets.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
MARKETING PLANS
- Support the Area Manager in the development and implementation of the annual Marketing Plans and corresponding actions in the various Agent markets
- Dissemination of marketing information and product updates to the Agents
- Collate and evaluate marketing launch plans from various Agent markets
- Assist in developing the annual budget deck
- Track & manage social media reports from key Agent markets
FORECASTING
- Support the Area Manager in the dissemination, collation, and analysis of product forecasts for new launches
PRICING
- Work with Area Manager, Regional Marketing and Agents on retail price review, analysis and recommendations for both regular and novelty products
PACIFIC ISLANDS SUPPORT
- Assist with the adaptation of marketing books and forecast recommendations for Pacific territories on new launches
- Coordinate the change in visual lightboxes in Pacific stores
- Support Accounts Assistant Manager with quarterly consolidation of new launches to be proposed to Agents
OTHERS
- Work with Assistant Accounts Manager to follow up on monthly sales reports from Agents
- Support Assistant Accounts Manager to schedule for delivery of registration documents to Agents
- Other ad-hoc projects, as and when required, from the Commercial Director, Area Manager or Assistant Accounts Manager
Other responsibilities may be added to the above, which are consistent with the title of INTERN- SALES & MARKETING.
YOU HAVE:
- Currently pursuing Bachelor of Business Administration (Marketing/Finance preferred)
- No particular experience required but generally eager to learn and discover a fast pace business in a multi-cultural and dynamic international company
- Good Microsoft Excel and Power Point knowledge
- High degree of responsibility, integrity and attentive to details
- Investigative nature
- Entrepreneurial mindset, challenging the existing, seeking for perfection
- People and, Communication skills with an ability to adapt to different personalities
