THE ROLE:
To assist the Senior Product Marketing Manager. To assist to develop, build and grow our Makeup and Island skincare franchises (Maternity/Body, Cleansing, Aroma) & also all other Face franchises (eg Men, Calm Essentiel), and create long term 360 product and content strategy.
The key missions of the Senior Pdt Mktg Manager are:
- Franchise Strategy: how to develop for current and +5 years each franchise
- Product Development in collaboration with Labs and Mktg Development in headquarters
- Portfolio Management: Operational platforms, orders and stock management, Trade animations, pricing, sampling, promotional strategy…
- Market support: constant connection with Local PM to ensure implantation Strategy
- 360 strategy and development: Content, communication campaigns, Assets development (for media, CRM, VM, SNS, Website, gamification … all touch points) in collaboration with Regional and Global teams
- Business analysis, consumer insights and best practice sharing on the Franchises
The Role of the Assistant Senior Pdt Mktg Manager is:
Collaborate actively in the key missions with a particular focus on:
- 360 development: strategy and content creation (launch or animation strategy, how to implement it in markets, which assets do we need, Brief to Global teams on Campaigns, Digital Assets, Brief VM regional team on the staging…)
- Business & Market analysis + Consumer insights (detailed analysis of our Sell Out Panel, assist to Focus Group, Consumer study, Market visit, Social listening to better understand the environment and consumer needs)
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Besides assisting on the Senior Pdt Mktg Manager on daily operation, also oversee and lead 1 project (1 Island campaign -- 360 development):
- To be able to understand and experiment a launch or animation from all the perspectives
- Work closely with key stakeholders including key markets, internal functions and external agencies to establish needs, build a proposal and implement action steps
- Will lead the entire project, with of course the total support of N+1 and the team
In order for the internship to really bring a full training and value added to the trainee, the Assistant will assist to all the key meeting of our Department and will be expose to all the strategical reflections. We will also make sure the candidate has exposure to other departments (E-commerce, CRM, Travel Retail, Supply, Finance) as well as Global briefing and meeting with Headquarters in order to complete his/her full vision of the business.
To make sure the internship is both way value added, we will, on top of the day to day support/following, organize a mid-internship review (after the first 3 months) to evaluate the objectives of the following 3 months and re-orient them if needed to ensure they matches with a successful experience.

YOU HAVE:
- Undergraduate student with strong interest in Marketing and the beauty industry
- No particular experience required but generally eager to learn and discover a fast pace business in a multi-cultural and dynamic international company
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel is a must
- Good command of verbal and written English, fluency in Mandarin and/or Japanese will be a value-add
- Display a high degree of responsibility, integrity, attentive to details with an investigative nature
- Ability to take direction and multi-task
- Driven, dynamic, hard-working, detail-oriented, willing to learn, challenge and think out of the box
