World Refining Association is looking for a talented video production intern to join our team!

Your Role

You need to be driven, enthusiastic and fascinated by the world of video editing and production. Our audience consists of the biggest oil & gas and technology companies across the world, so attention to detail is vital. It is also essential that you are willing to experiment, learn new skills and continually expand your skillset.

We are looking for motivated self-starters who take responsibility and push themselves to the next level. Ultimately, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story. You should be familiar with digital storytelling and creating viral edited video content for social media.

We are part of a multinational organization, Clarion Events, that runs exhibitions and conferences worldwide, so there are future opportunities to grow professionally beyond the internship.

Your Responsibilities

As a video producer at World Refining Association you would:

• Design, record, edit and produce World Refining Association’s video products
• Manipulate and edit content in a way that is invisible to the audience
• Storyboard videos featuring colleagues, industry players, and sponsoring partners
• Manage a range of video products, from short 15 min clips to 2-hour webinars
• Create viral edited video content for social media
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
• Plan on-site and remote shoots
• Manage and setup audio and video equipment
• Meet deadlines agreed with the team and clients
• Coordinate video projects with editors, journalists, sales managers and marketing
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency
• Be part of an ambitious and motivated team

We are looking for someone with technical skills in audio, video and post-production:

• Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) as related to Premiere
• OBS
• Garage Band
• Other applicable video and audio editing software

Previous experience in producing and editing videos is desirable but not required.
