Job Description

1. Role Description

As an Accounting Intern, you'll be at the forefront of our financial operations, reporting to the Finance (SEA) lead and working closely with our Southeast Asia Finance team across multiple dynamic markets.

2. Specific Responsibilities

  1. Hands-On Experience: Dive into the centre of our operations in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam, gaining invaluable hands-on experience and making a real impact from day one.
  2. Financial Standards: Stay connected with a range of Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) across Southeast Asia, expanding your financial expertise and staying ahead of the curve.
  3. Transfer Pricing: Experience the procedure of setting fair prices between related parties using the arm's length principle through hands-on transfer pricing documentation. 
  4. Financial Management: Assist in executing month-end and year-end closings, while also contributing to the preparation of monthly and yearly financial statements.
  5. Innovation Driver: Engage in driving automation and digitalization initiatives, including ERP system implementation, to enhance financial insights and streamline reporting processes.
  6. Decision-Making Support: Assist in preparing key decision-making tools for management, utilizing your analytical skills to drive strategic business decisions.
  7. Other Ad Hoc tasks

3. Competencies

  1. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand finance processes and contribute to drafting policy documents, actively shaping our financial future.
  2. Innovation Champion: Take an active role in automation initiatives, working with internal and external stakeholders to drive process improvement and innovation.
  3. Reporting Excellence: Prepare management reporting tools with precision and flair, ensuring accuracy and submission readiness.
  4. Closing Expertise: Support all accounting activities for our Southeast Asia finance team, ensuring timely and accurate month-end closings.
