Cleantech Solar Development Company Pte. Ltd. – SEA Finance Intern

Role Description
This position reports to the Corporate Financing and Treasury Director and interfaces with internal stakeholders and external lenders. Cleantech Solar is a leading provider of renewable energy to corporations in Southeast Asia and India. The company owns and operates more than 300 solar power plants across the 8 countries.

The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background in a quantitative discipline such as accounting, mathematics, etc with keen interest in the fast growing renewable energy sector.

Specific Responsibilities

The individual will have the opportunity to:

• Participate in finance modelling and cash flow projection
• Participate in debt management and monitoring for renewable energy projects in Southeast Asia
• Manage debt utilisation process by working closely with internal and external stakeholders
• Assist in data collection and evaluation to ensure data accuracy
• Improve efficiency and productivity of internal process
• Gain experience with Customer Relationship Management Platform (SalesForce), Data Visualisation tool (PowerBI), and data manipulation using Excel

 Competencies

• Active participation in finance modelling and projections, including developing models
• Ability to collect, evaluate and interpret data, in both statistical and narrative form with strong attention to detail
• Participation in debt reporting and utilisation for renewable energy projects in Southeast Asia
• Ability to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders (to develop good communication and team management skills)
• Improve efficiency and productivity of internal process 

Duration of Internship Offered

Must be able to commit at least 4 months full time (Extendable to 6 months)
